A native and current resident of Richmond, Virginia, Klein is charged with developing the company’s business segment supporting national and multistate agencies. In addition, Klein is overseeing the development of AmTrust’s footprint in the Mid Atlantic Region (South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, DC and Maryland). Prior to joining AmTrust, he worked 7 years for WFG National Title Insurance Company, developing its Southeast Region and then serving as National Agency Manager. Prior to working at WFG, he worked for 22 years for LandAmerica serving in numerous leadership capacities including the formation of national agency and affiliated business divisions. Klein also has owned his own independent title agency and practiced real estate law. Mr. Klein earned his law degree from the University of Richmond and his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Prior to joining AmTrust Title, Mr. Smith was Underwriting Counsel for Conestoga Title Insurance Co., underwriting title insurance risks for title agents and approved attorneys in the MidAtlantic and Midwest. Before that, he held senior posts for national title insurance companies, primarily in Virginia. He also has been in the private practice of law focused on real estate and has been Managing Attorney for a title and settlement subsidiary of a national builder.
Bea is a 45+ year veteran of the title industry. She was previously an Agency Sales Consultant for WFG National Title and was charged with signing new agents in the Central, VA market. She worked for Stewart Title as President of Stewart’s Virginia operation and then later as Vice President and Agency Service Manager. She recruited and signed new agents for Security Title of Virginia. She then introduced Fidelity National into the Central Virginia market. Her experience earlier in her career included the role of an abstractor for American St. Paul Title Insurance Company.
Prior to AmTrust, Cheryl was Vice President, Agency Resources WFG National Title Insurance Company. During her tenure there, she served as the liaison officer for the 12th Floor Group, a consortium of highly vetted local and national title agents who cater to lenders. In addition, Cheryl onboarded Virginia and national agents, to utilize WFG title production search services. Before that, she managed and operated her own Richmond, VA-based title agency, Alliance National Title Company.
