As President and CEO Steven provides the strategic and operational direction that has allowed the firm to grow to a roster of more than 75 employees that many consider to be the best in their respective areas of expertise. FNTA is comprised of seasoned underwriters, account executives, communications and support teams who serve major commercial real estate developers, landlords and institutional investors both domestically and globally.
With more than 15 years of experience in operations management, Bernadette Cuevas is in charge of all broad-based operations and systems for direct title operations, overseeing all major operational functions such as personnel, finance and new business development. Prior to joining FNTA, Bernadette was Director of Administration and Human Resources for a national title agent where her responsibilities included oversight of all office operations. Before that, she was Head of Administration/Business Manager for Manhattan- based NY Credit Advisors, LLC.
Ms. Joyce is a veteran of the title industry serving clients for more than 25 years throughout the Greater New York Metropolitan region. Prior to joining FNTA, Ms. Joyce was a lead executive for First American Title Insurance Company, with long standing relationships in the Long Island region, representing major builders and developers in a wide variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions. She is affiliated with several professional organizations and sits on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Real Estate at Hofstra (IRE); is an Associate Board Member for the Association of a Better Long Island (ABLI); on the Board of Directors of Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG); and she is a member of Commercial Industrial Brokers (CIBS). Elizabeth is also a member of the Energeia Partnership Class of 2008. She currently resides in Long Island with her husband and children.
Stephen Francis is a title insurance veteran with more than 25 years in the business. Based in Richmond, Stephen is Senior Vice President of AmTrust's National Commercial Division. Mr. Francis is charged with growing the direct national commercial business throughout the southeast region. In addition to regional business development, he oversees the production center, servicing the customers of the region. During his career, Mr. Francis served as a Director for a national commercial title insurance agency attracting and servicing commercial real estate transactions across the USA. He served as a National Division Manager for two national title insurance underwriters and grew market share in a five state region. Mr. Francis is a founding director of the Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE).
Michael Antonucci serves as Senior Vice President and Sales Manager, responsible for leading and guiding AmTrust Title’s sales team. Michael directs the team’s focus on setting goals, building a sales plan and keeping them motivated. Michael has close to 20 years experience in the residential mortgage industry as a top originator. Prior to AmTrust Title, Michael worked for mortgage lenders in the secondary market, including Resource One, Coastal Capital and Novastar Mortgage as sales manager, Director, and Branch Owner respectively. He has served on the committee for the Joe Namath March of Dimes Celebrity Golf Outing over the last the 3 years. Michael earned a BA degree in Business Administration from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
Steve has over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry. He is a former Vice President of the sales division at First American Title Insurance Company of New York and Vice President of First Title, the international division of First American Title. He was personally responsible for establishing and maintaining key customer relationships internationally. Steve is knowledgeable, and has experience with compound, national and international transactions.
As Managing Director/Counsel-Texas Operations, Randy’s primary responsibilities are to establish offices in Houston, Dallas and Austin and to oversee AmTrust’s organic growth across the State. In his four-decade career filled with banking, legal, real estate and entrepreneurial experience, Randy has focused on commercial real estate transactions, complex creditor-debtor relationships, start-up ventures and business planning/strategy. Prior to joining AmTrust, Randy held positions with Stewart Title, including Senior Vice President, Counsel & Division Manager at Stewart Title Company and Vice President at Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Before that, he practiced law as Special Counsel at HughesWattersAskanase and as a partner at the national law firm of Baker & Hostetler.
Ed focuses on establishing AmTrust’s agency network in order to support client relations and business development efforts for the company’s direct operations. Before joining AmTrust, Ed was retired after a 34-year career with Stewart Title Company serving as Group Senior Vice President overseeing its title operations in South Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. During his tenure with Stewart Title, he was instrumental in the development of its property tax service company and in expanding the title insurance operations into Mexico. Having served as Chairman/CEO of Stewart Title of Houston during the late 80’s and early 90’s, Ed is adept at expanding markets and growing revenues.
