AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:AFSI) (the "Company" or "AmTrust") announced today that it has closed its previously announced private placement of 24,096,384 shares of common stock at a price of $12.45 per share, resulting in gross proceeds to the Company of US$300 million.
